Your beloved cat has been missing for a few days. You suspect she's run off into the woods across the street, a bad habit she does whenever she manages to get a paw out the door behind your back. The forest wasn't known to be dangerous, quite peaceful in fact, but her being an indoor pet has you worried regardless.
Though being an indoor person yourself, you wound up wandering far deeper than you intended. Lucky for you a kind (but odd-looking) stranger stumbled upon you before anything bad happened.
...Let's hope he only has good intentions in bringing you home.
WARNING! The game has NO NSFW/18+ content, however due to darker themes associated with the yandere genre, the game is rated 16+ from now on. Player discretion is advised.

If there's any issues; it might help to go to %appdata% > Renpy folder > deleting the Mushroom Oasis folder as it gives the game a fresh start. I did it every time during testing, and everything runs smooth so far. Hope it helps!

I'm obsessed with the lore, story, and Mychael! I played all the way through to the neutral end and had to replay for the chance to experience more of the story but that just has left me with my heart aching and very sad.
I hope we get more of this game soon! Phenomenal work.
Finally played this game after seeing it so much on tumblr and tik tok and I don't regret it. I find him soo adorable. I can't wait for future days to come out. 10/10 would recommend.

While I was playing, I was at the edge of my seat waiting for him to reveal that he killed my cat and ate it along with making me eat it in that meat pie the first night. Even that moment in the flower field where we first hear him purr. I was saying to myself, "Why do purr? Is it because you ate my cat?". I just gotta know what exactly happened to the cat.
!!! SPOILER ALERT !!!
He didn't kill our cat, that mushroom circle that attracts the player was the one who killed him, there's an ending where if you insist on leaving as soon as you meet him, you're drawn back there and die, then it shows the image of the circle and a relief inside it, being a human body and a cat's.
this was REALLY adorable!!! i enjoyed it till the very end. i also ended up giggling a lot at the funny parts and the times mycheal was all flustured and gittery. cant wait for day 4!!!

It's such an amazing game! I have no words enough to describe how much this made my vacation a lot nice!!! The graphics, visuals, writing- EVERYTHING! I'm so in love with the character I might live that way
i'm typically not into this sort of character archetype at all but after seeing (i'm pretty sure) all there is to see from the current demo, i mess with this heavy. insanely charming writing/character, and a gorgeous art style to boot ⁉️ yeah you got me. the premise is also really funny to me - as soon as i saw "mushrooms" and "circle" in the same sentence, every single alarm bell went off. but hey that's what i get for being a mythology buff lmao. excited to see the rest of this xx
The way I literally don't even want to leave like he's a man that gardens, hunts, knits and does his own home repairs like Y/N said he living the cottage-core dream right now and don't even get me started on his lil blue blush ahh he's just too damn cute.

Oh my god I feel so stupid, but I just recently did a replay through of all the Deersphere studios, but it just clicked for me that Vida = Alma. THEY LITERALLY SAY "LIFT YOUR SPIRITS". I noticed visually they look similar, plus the mention of the university and the classic orange soda. Is Mushroom Oasis a universe where Alma doesnt die? Or is it more of a prequel?
I've explained on tumblr that it implies MO is set before LYS! It's meant to be a fun little easter egg for people who wanted more Alma content without breaking the 4th wall haha <3!
i really like astronought can you make a second one? about another crew finding the ship that is infested with worms. plot= you and your crew are searching for the ship /the one atom is on. you ether get rizzed up by atom or find a way to kill the worms.

I did a little hack to install the game on my cell phone, but I managed hehe, and I honestly loved it, I think if the game continued, it would be her going to visit him, or there would be some reason that only the creator of the game knows what he would do, or her teaching the "technology" that Mychael didn't know :3, and seriously, the game is so well made that it has so many details that you wouldn't notice, but even so they tried hard to make it, showing that they dedicated themselves to the game, and I would be very happy if there was a sequel, but no one decides whether it will continue or not, but I hope so, because this is not a game, but a work of art 🫶🏻

I can help you with that! But this actually only works on android devices, first go to google and search joiplay (the first page) install and install the joiplay complement too (it is in the same page) go to the play store and install zarchiver, then come to itch.io mushroom oasis page and download the link of the game for windows, go to zarchiver ( the downloads folder) and extract all the file, go to joiplay and add new game, search the file of the mushroom oasis game and choose the file that ends with .exe, you can give the game a image if you want but it’s not necessary (the version you put will not affect the game so you can directly not do it)

I already wrote a review last night but had to come back here after replaying and picking different choices.
I LOVE the difference in the choice of words and phrases used in the description of the scene where MC is in the bathroom depending on the choice you pick before MC takes a shower. The way the tone of the scene changes depending on the choice you make had me analysing this thing as if I had an assignment on it lol.
SPOILER AHEAD (kinda?)
The different bmg, the description of the smell of his clothes being somewhat negative in one and almost poetic in the other, how big his clothes are compared to MC making him seem threatening in one and just a bigger guy in the other...It almost made the room seem darker in one and brighter in the other.
Maybe that's just the former literary student in me but I just really wanted to show appreciation for such details because you really didn't have to make this scene seem so different yet you did and it shows that this game was/is made with care and I love it. <3
Oh my gosh, I rarely respond to comments on the game page (since it can get overwhelming quickly for me haha) but let me tell you I got so excited when reading your comment!! People have pointed out the change in tone depending on which route you chose but to have it dissected exactly where I intended with the description of the smell and the reminder of his height means a lot to me! Even MC's reaction to the cold shower was intentional!
I really wanted the following interaction between Mychael and MC in the following scene in the kitchen to be believable, hence why their thoughts are so different (aptly named Cautious and Carefree branches). Thank you so much, that made my night <3!

I just really had to point it out because I had spent way too much time geeking out about this scene haha (I really could've gone on and on about how in one scene the emphasis is really put on the fact that this is not MC's place but HIS and on the other it's not MC's place but it is shared with them, but I didn't want my comment to be too long lol). The game is so well written and has made its way into one of my favorites. I'm very excited to see more! Wishing you the best. <3

I love this!! So far, I've only played once and haven't checked all the choices, but I'm so eager to!! I really like the way we get hints as to how things aren't as they seem. Especially when the text changes colour! I really wanna know what the purple means; I've sort of figured out the pink :D
